Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your Noeul account and the data associated with it. Noeul is developed by Noeul, and you can reach us any time at noeul.app@gmail.com.
Delete your account from the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the Noeul app:
- Open the Noeul app and make sure you are signed in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted. Your account and associated data are permanently deleted immediately.
Delete your account by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us at noeul.app@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account (or tell us the email you signed up with) and ask us to delete your account. We will verify your request and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the personal data we hold for your account, including:
- Your account and sign-in identity (your email address and authentication records).
- Your reading profiles, saved words, and vocabulary progress.
- Your writing and any notes you created and synced.
- Your app preferences and settings.
- Your personalization and reading-activity data used to tailor the experience.
Any data stored only on your device (rather than in your account) is removed when you uninstall the app.
Data retention
Your data is removed from our active systems as soon as the deletion is processed. Residual copies may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before they are overwritten on our normal backup rotation. We may retain a minimal amount of information where required to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce our legal terms, or comply with applicable law, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. If you later want to use Noeul again, you will need to create a new account.
